We charge £59.95 per rail for engraving directly into the wood. You can split your text over two lines per rail. Most of our Wealden Benches feature both a top and lower rail, offering ample space to personalise your bench further.
Select a pre-designed image from our library for £19.95.
If you provide a simple line drawing or silhouette (similar in complexity to our library images), this costs an additional £9.95 (£29.90 total).
For a more detailed or custom image, the cost is £49.95. We will always contact you beforehand if there are any additional costs or artwork considerations.
The number of characters depends on the size of your chosen bench. Each bench is allocated a maximum character count to ensure the best fit and appearance; Chair: 50, 2 seat: 80, 3 seat: 100, 4 seat: 120 characters. You can preview your text during the personalisation stage, and if your text exceeds the recommended allowance, our team will be happy to advise.
Yes! If you’d like one line of text larger than another, you can specify this. Simply leave your formatting requests in the 'Additional notes regarding your personalisation' box when completing your order.

We have tried and tested a number of engraving fonts over the years and have short listed 4 that consistently produce excellent results; Arial, Cambria, Corsiva and Comic. If you have a particular font in mind that you would like to use, please contact our Design Team.
