Yes all our benches are delivered fully assembled.

We expect the bench to last at least 30 years.

We don't have a showroom as we are a working warehouse, however if you are local and would like to view some benches this can be arranged by giving us a call.

Our current lead time for a wood engraved bench is approximately 12 workings days. It will give you the option to add a delivery date on the checkout page.

The bench will be delivered on a pallet, curbside delivery. The delivery partner will deliver on your chosen delivery day.

In some cases, you will need to contact the council if the bench is going to be sited on public land.

We deliver anywhere in the UK but not to Ireland/Northern Ireland.

We can fit 2 benches/chairs onto 1 pallet, except for the 4 seat benches which have to go separately.

The delivery partner will deliver 1-man kerbside delivery on a pallet. They are not insured to move the bench to site it.

Yes, we can deliver to a park or cricket ground, but someone would need to be there as the driver cannot move the bench or site it.

Our factories are required by law to have SLVK certification to conform with EU laws (FLEGT) on importing Teak. We receive the Green Leaf Eco Standard (GLES) certificate to verify this process. 

You can have the plaque attached or unattached.

The cushions are weatherproof, not waterproof.

We have 2 sizes of plaque, either 5" x 2" or 10" x 2".

You can have up to 120 characters on a 4-seat bench which must include spacing and punctuation.

You can have up to 100 characters on a 3-seat bench which must include spacing and punctuation.

You can have up to 80 characters on a 2-seat bench which must include spacing and punctuation.

You can have up to 50 characters on a 1-seat bench which must include spacing and punctuation.

250 characters (split across 5 lines) on a 5" x 2" plaque & 500 characters (split across 5 lines) on a 10" x 2" to include spacing and punctuation.

You can engrave on both rails of all of the benches with the exception of the Scotney Bench which can only be engraved on the top rail.

Cambria is the most popular font as it’s the most traditional.

We charge £59.95 per rail to engrave into the wood. We can split the text over 2 lines. Most of our memorial benches have a top rail and a lower rail to further personalise your bench.

We charge £19.95 to engrave our library simple images into a rail.

You can upload your own simple line drawing or silhouette (similar in complexity as our online library of images) for an additional £9.95 bringing the the total cost to £39.90.

More complex images or bespoke images are charged at £49.45 to allow for the additional design time involved.

Text engraving is included in the price of the plaque. Simple Images are £4.95 a pair. Bespoke Images are £19.90 a pair.

The engraver will tailor the amount of wording/characters to best fit the bench.

Yes.

We cannot engrave photos onto our benches, we do offer photo plaques as and alternative.

All of our prices include VAT.

We can only accept online orders.

Yes

We don't recommend that you treat the bench in any way. The bench will gradually change colour over time and you can use a pressure washer occasionally if required.

The bench can be pressure washed occasionally but doesn’t need to be treated.

The bench legs will not need protecting as Teak is a hardwearing wood.

Yes, the bench will turn a silver grey over 6 – 18 months.

It’s natures way of protecting itself. When bare Teak timber is exposed to the elements, it oxidizes and forms a layer to protect itself. This layer can be gently sanded back or cleaned with a pressure washer to reveal the unprotected, bare Teak timer beneath.

If you feel a return is necessary, a cost will incur for the returning of goods to our warehouse. The cost of the return will be the same as the original price paid for delivery. This is to be paid by the customer in advance.

Upon inspection of the item, if the fault is with ourselves or our delivery partner we will then refund the delivery amount in full within 14 working days.

If there is a fault or damage, which is covered within your warranty, we will refund the delivery amount in full within 14 working days.

If a return is necessary for a non-faulty item, a cost will incur for the returning of goods to our warehouse.

The cost will be the same as the original price paid for delivery. This is to be paid by the customer.

A non-faulty item includes, but is not limited to, duplicate orders and or change of mind.
