Bench Security | Ground Fixing Kits | Ground Anchors for Benches
At Wealden Benches, we understand that you may place your garden bench in a public place and as such, we offer a range of additional security measures along with our benches. To give you peace of mind, we can provide a range of heavy duty fixtures, all engineered here in the UK to our own design and high specifications, specifically for securing your bench. These secure fixtures will stop your bench from moving, while also providing a deterrent to potential thieves or vandals.
The teak benches we produce can be found in a wide range of locations – gardens, parks, outside schools, offices, open spaces and much more. You may have purchased one of our benches to celebrate a major milestone in life so, with many of these benches being very personal to you and your family, you will want to make sure that your bench is safe and secure, and will not go missing.
Because different people will want their benches in different places, we have produced two separate types of fixtures: one for fixing your garden bench to soft surfaces such as grass, and one for fixing it to hard surfaces such as paving. For those wanting to fix their bench to soft ground, such as grass or soil, we have our ‘Soft Ground Fixing Straps’. These straps secure your bench by holding it down with concrete (not included) over the bottom cross-rail at each end of the bench.
For those wanting to fix their bench to a harder surface, such as paving slabs or wood, we have our ‘Hard Ground Fixing Anchors’. These anchors are 5mm thick, heavy duty and polished for a refined look. They have also been engineered to house counter sunk screws. Each ‘Hard Ground Fixing Anchors’ kit comes with:
