Made from Grade A teak sustainable teak wood our benches are made to last a lifetime. They can be personalised with thanks, words of wisdom or the retirees favourite hobbies.
Our heavy 3 seat Retirement Gift Idea Bench has a pretty Oval back and an oval supports at the front legs which complement each other very nicely. It has rounded fronts to the arms which are naturally comfortable to the hands. Anti-theft bench security fixings for peace of mind are available if you are placing your Retirement bench in a public place. We can also offer a wood engraving or brass plaque service for personal effect.

Sustainability is very important to us. Our factories are required by law to have SVLK certification to conform with new EU laws (FLEGT) on importing Teak. We receive the The Green Leaf™ Eco Standard (GLES) certificate to verify this process. This demonstrates a firm, authentic and effective commitment to sustainability, both towards the environment and socially. Rest assured our products are from sustainable sources which is sometimes not the case elsewhere.

IMPORTANT NOTICE To achieve 25 years + of use, all Retirement Gift Idea Garden Benches should be Polyurethane (expanding foam) glued, Teak dowelled then clamped for 24hrs to ensure that there is no movement in the construction. Although this is an expensive and time consuming process, it is what we do with everyone of our Benches before we deliver. Be aware of buying flat packed Retirement Gift Idea Garden Benches or those made with cheap glues as wood naturally expands and contracts when left outside so if they are not joined securely they will, after a few seasons, wobble and fail.
